To all residents of the Martainville district, Rouen:
There are photo albums and old cassettes in your cupboards that can tell stories about the neighbourhood and its residents: get them out! *
From 14 to 23 May 2024, meet Nina Medioni in the streets, shops and residences of the district and work with her to build a portrait of Martainville – past and present.
*If you’ve just moved in or your cupboards are bare, your voice is just as important!
Accompanied by the artist and the caretakers of the residences, take the camera around the various meeting places in the neighbourhood: the market and the adjoining café, the post office, the grocery shop, the basketball stadium, the landlord’s office, the park…
What memories do you have of the neighbourhood? How has it changed over the generations? How do you see it today?
