Cutting and manipulation workshop
With a paper kit made of colored shapes, each child arranges the elements and creates his or her own self-portrait over time. My face now, later, much later. Each step is photographed and shows that nothing is fixed and that everything changes.
The workshop for young audiences was led by Sophie Grassart as part of Koos Breukel’s exhibition Fils at the Centre Photographique Rouen Normandie, June–September 2020.
TIGRE is a space that brings together art workshops for children and teenagers, a children’s library and a cultural programme dedicated to young audiences. The space is designed and run by Sophie Grassart, who blends her personal artistic interests with contemporary and traditional practices, techniques drawn from the visual and craft arts, and materials of all kinds.
