Here, when you go to the seaside, you’ll find limestone cliffs, bits of chalk on the beach, and hamlets that all end with the word ville: Montville, Doudeville, Trouville. But have you heard of Colorville? Using water, plaster and ink, create a town made entirely of chalk!
For each of our exhibitions, we invite the Rouen-based artist Sophie Grassart, aka TIGRE, to run a creative workshop for children. TIGRE is a space that brings together art workshops for children and teenagers, a children’s library and a cultural programme dedicated to young audiences.
The space is run by Sophie Grassart, who blends her personal artistic interests with contemporary and traditional practices, techniques drawn from the visual and craft arts, and materials of all kinds. First, there will be a tour of the Centre Photographique, then the team will take the children to TIGRE, a 10-minute walk away at 45 Rue Molière, for the hands-on workshop, where you will need to collect the children at 5pm.
