In addition to its exhibitions, the Centre photographique is involved in a wide range of artistic and cultural education initiatives through artist residencies in schools, medical and social care settings, and hospitals. These residencies, organised in collaboration with the host institutions, provide an opportunity for the visiting artist to continue their creative work in the Normandy region.
Working with future fishermen, children at leisure centres, day hospital patients, high school students training in vehicle repair, and young children—whether in hospitals, universities, agricultural high schools, or elementary schools—each artist leads a series of practical art workshops with diverse audiences as part of exclusive, tailored projects.
